The International Center maintains the animation and the coordination of a scientific network between the different research centers involved with musical iconography throughout the world. The International Center works as central desk of RIdIM. Its administrator establishes and maintains links with research centers, iconographical archives and all institutions or private researchers concerned with musical iconography, but also links with the sponsoring organisations (IAML, IMS, CIMCIM, ICOM). • the publication of a newsletter which provides information about the activities of the Commission Mixte and about the state of research in musical iconography
• a documentation about centers and researchers throughout the world
• a website
