International Centre
Based in London, the International Centre co-ordinates the diverse network of research projects, research centres and individuals involved with musical iconography throughout the world. In this way the Centre works as central desk for RIdIM in terms of incoming enquiries from scholars, students and other diverse individuals interested in all aspects of musical iconography. Its administrator establishes and maintains links with research centres, iconographical archives and all institutions or private researchers concerned with musical iconography, but also links with the sponsoring organizations (IAML, IMS, CIMCIM, ICOM).
The Centre maintains a library facility of periodicals and journals as well as providing personal advice on key sources for music iconology and access to these sources.
Since June 2010 the Centre has been hosted by the Institute of Music Research at the School of Advanced Study, University of London.
